and now today, Dec 4. Make this your best Mississippi. It will be wet and rainy for sure so bring a towel to the upper pavilion.
Yesterday was a whole lot of uncomfortable. An hour of it. It was a constant grind, not just in effort but audibly as well. It was an hour where you improved your resiliency. This is one of the most important things as human beings we can work on. Mental toughness, grit, fortitude. The "this F'in sucks. Keep moving forward anyways" mentality. We live in a world where this is diminishing at a rapid rate. We are surrounded in our society by "it's hard, someone needs to do it for me. It's not my responsibility. I'm not capable." You know 100+ of those people. You are not one of those people. Train the body and the mind. Today will be more of that training. People will say "It is raining! It is cold! You can't be outside!" Yes you can. With the right mindset, you can be quite comfy in most people's impossible and uncomfortable. Monday night it was snowing, windy and dark. These conditions were brushed off like an annoying gnat by you. I applaud you. Let's finish this cycle strong today.
See ya in the woods.
