Good morning all! Very excited about today's adventure with all of you. So far we have received $150 in donations for ourbighouse.org and it is going to be a beautiful day for a hike/run/climb. I placed the 29 books out yesterday and I hope they were not moved. (There is a piece of paper on them that says "do not move me"
Base will be at the sunny field by the Upper Pavilion. Remember that if you do not have a Chewacla pass, you will need to pay at the entrance. It is $4 per person. The upper pavilion is all the way at the end near the waterfalls.
I will need you to come to the Pavilion and sign a waiver.
Donations can be made via Venmo @Anthony-DiLetto (there is a picture of Felix as the profile pic) or cash. No donation too large or too small.
I will begin instructions at 8:30, 10:00. 5:30 pm sharp.
Some people will want to do this individually, some will want to do it as a team. Once those divisions are clear, I will give you/your team a map with a designated page number.
There are plenty of spots still available so have your friends sign up and join us. I am excited to have this opportunity to support a local organization that does so much for foster families in the community in a time of year where that support is crucial. I look forward to meeting those who are not members of Iron Blaze Strength and Conditioning and providing you with a fun fitness experience. It is my belief that we need to be outside frolicking about regularly and if you signed up for this, you probably agree. We all need a little fun and a little adventure in our lives and A LOT more outside. Bring layers you can stuff into a small pack. You will probably start somewhat cold but the sun and trails will warm you. Go at your own pace.
