Today we focus on the hinge pattern. We will be at the lower pavilion. Did you drink your water like I told you yesterday? Did you measure it? Too often I have heard "oh, I drink plenty of water." When measuring happens, they are almost always disillusioned and incorrect. People have false sense of success quite often with food. "I eat great!" I often respond "prove it." They document what they eat and it is pretty much never actually "great". I ask people a question- "On a scale of 1-10, where is your diet?" The answer is often "7 or 8. I eat really well!" When the documentation and evidence is requested, it typically resembles more of a 2 or 3. I say all this repeatedly because I see a huge contrast in success for those who document/measure and those who do not. Start by physically measuring your water intake.
This photo represents everything you are trying to improve upon. Every little aspect of your life. Food, exercise, you name it. Some of you are currently 4 months into my 5 year "be like Herschel" plan. You are standing on the 4th rung of that ladder. (For those that are new, check post Aug 4) Some of you are still standing on the ground. How long will you stand on the ground and watch others climb because they took small steps? My guess, possibly forever. Or you could try a different ladder, that has worked well for you 14 times in your life as you still stand on the ground.
